HAJARA UMAR NATAALA holds a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) from the University of Bedfordshire, United Kingdom and is a Barrister and Solicitor to the Supreme Court of Nigeria. Currently, she is pursuing a Master’s in Law Enforcement and Criminal Justice at Ahmadu Bello University.
She currently holds the position of Executive Secretary/Legal Officer at Black Pelican Limited, where she excels in managing legal correspondence, case administration, and providing expert legal advice. Her role involves overseeing HR functions, ensuring legal compliance, and fostering a culture of risk management.
Previously, Hajara served as a Legal Specialist at the Nigerian University Pension Management Company Ltd., and as Executive Secretary/Legal Officer at Barnksforte Group where she supported the company secretary and Managing Directors to ensure compliance with legal obligations and company policies. In addition to her legal career, she is an entrepreneur, running her own baking business, Muffins by Hajjo and Nibbles by Hajjo.
Hajara is passionate about making substantial contributions to her organization and thrives in collaborative environments. She currently is a programme officer for Detainees Welfare Foundation, Abuja Branch.
